Hello! I'm Katy McCrossan, I am a Glasgow-based independent textile designer, knitter & maker with a love for everything + anything colourful!

 

I graduated from The Glasgow School of Art with a BA Hons in Textile Design, specialising in Knitted Textiles.

Since graduating in 2019, I have taken my love for textiles, graphic design + colour to start my own small business 

selling handmade, eco-friendly printed goods. 

 

Environmental impact is very important in my design process + I mainly work with risograph print as it is an environmentally friendly method of printing, using soy based, nontoxic inks. All prints are produced on recycled paper + I aim to use recycled materials + packaging wherever possible.

As well as the running of my small business, I am a self employed freelance designer + work on a variety of design projects for different clients.
